Kennedy is SUCH a daddy's girl...she says his name about 500 times a day. We are so thankful to have such a wonderful husband and father, we love you daddia!! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends!!

Christmas Project

I was so excited about finally having the time to make my own Christmas stockings this year. I saw a picture online and loved the stockings, however, they were asking $30 each for them, and I didn't want to spend that. I thought they turned out pretty well so I thought I would share...they were so easy!!

FIRST sNoW!!!

On Tuesday we made it outside to enjoy the first snowfall of the season. Kennedy didn't really know what to think of it. I had two pairs of snow boots for her (size 5) and neither one fit, so we had to go to the next best thing, her cowboy boots!! It was so funny watching her walk "stiff legged" in them! Guess we better get some snow boots before we head out again.

I think she is already tired of being at home with mom, looks like she

is ready to go to work with dad, she even packed a lunch!!

Lots to be thankful for...

This year we made our usual trip to Kansas City after having a wonderful meal at Grandma Bauer's house...8 DVD's & one 45 minute nap later, we were finally at Great Grandma Mary's. We spent Thursday night and Friday with Cousin Julia, Cousin Leah and the gang and realized just how much these girls had changed since we were there last year (see pic). Saturday we headed to Cameron, MO to spend time with the Kimball's and see a whole houseful of cousins! We have so much to be thankful for this year with a great family, a precious daughter who we just can't get enough of and a healthy baby boy on the way! God is so good to us!!!

Our Little Pebbles!

What a fun Halloween it was this year. Kennedy was Pebbles and her cousin Bo was Bam Bam, while cousin Reece was a ladybug. We started off the evening by visiting Grandma & Grandpa Bohbrink and then we ate pizza at Grandma Bauer's with all the cousin's. Adam and I took Kennedy trick or treating with Bo & Reece and what an adventure that was! She loved going up to each door and picking which candy she wanted...

Fall Fun

We have already been so busy this fall with trips to the Zoo, Rader's Pumpkin Patch, playing in the rain, visiting new born babies and a visit with Julia and family...here are some pics from all the fun times we have had so far.

Brody Alan Bauer is here!!

Our new nephew/cousin arrived this afternoon and he is such a doll...we were not shocked when we got the phone call that this one was a boy...we knew all along....! We are excited to have another little boy in the family (I think Bo was getting tired of all the girl talk).

Last Sunday while daddy was watching the Chiefs game, Kennedy and I put on a fashion show for him. She would strut her stuff down the hallway show him and run back down to me to put something else on, we laughed so hard at her.

Labor Day in the Ozarks

We packed up Bob & Deb's Full size van with little room to spare and headed to the Ozarks last weekend with Brian, Laura & Austin Kruger. We had a great time boating, swimming, playing and relaxing all weekend. The weather was perfect and the kids were great (except for some crazy moments from Kennedy)...We always have such a great time in the Ozarks! Thanks Brian, Laura and Austin for inviting us!

Kennedy is going to be a Big Sister! We are expecting Baby #2 in March...

First Haircut...

Today we ventured to Cookie Cutters so Kennedy could get a trim! I know I probably should have done this myself, but I wanted to get that "first haircut" experience!

We had a fun weekend at Julia's...we went shopping at IKEA and then hung out with the fam all day Saturday. The two of these girls are so funny together...Kennedy is so obnoxious and did I mention LOUD and Julia is so reserved and sweet. We love spending time with them, we only wish they lived closer so we could see them more!!

Adam is busy at work building our new 2nd story deck. He has worked so hard and we are so excited to be able to use it in the next couple of months! Here are some pictures of the deck adventure!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY BO-BO!!

So I really didnt forget about the blog, just forgot to update it! Where do we start, it has been a CRAZY couple of weeks around here....we even forgot to mention that it was our cousin Bo-Bo's birthday on the 28th of July. We can't believe how fast he is growing and how much we love his chubbers cheeks!
