My BFF Julia...

We had a fun weekend at Julia's...we went shopping at IKEA and then hung out with the fam all day Saturday. The two of these girls are so funny together...Kennedy is so obnoxious and did I mention LOUD and Julia is so reserved and sweet. We love spending time with them, we only wish they lived closer so we could see them more!!

Deck in progress...

Adam is busy at work building our new 2nd story deck. He has worked so hard and we are so excited to be able to use it in the next couple of months! Here are some pictures of the deck adventure!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY BO-BO!!

So I really didnt forget about the blog, just forgot to update it! Where do we start, it has been a CRAZY couple of weeks around here....we even forgot to mention that it was our cousin Bo-Bo's birthday on the 28th of July. We can't believe how fast he is growing and how much we love his chubbers cheeks!

On another note, I am really trying to get our basement/storefront/office/library/laundry put together and re-decorated....I have been looking for ideas and ran across this one. I love it and I NEED it! We have so many small items such as ribbons, buttons, tags, labels, jewels, etc that this would be perfect...If you have any cute ideas for the space let me know, I will post some pictures soon of the progress thus far!!

A trip to G&G Kimball's

This past weekend we took a trip to Indiana to visit Grandpa & Grandma Kimball as well as Jake, Liz and Julia. We were worried about Kennedy traveling in her car seat (since she hates being restrained) however, she did pretty well...thanks to the DVD player!

We had a great fourth of July which included a Bauer Reunion in Cissna Park, IL and lots of good food. Unfortunately we were not able to stay up long enough for Fireworks but hopefully we will next year!

We were able to get outside and get in the pool for the first time this summer. We also got to use the water table from Aunt Liz, Uncle Jake and Julia. She was soaked head to toe after playing. I think she is going to love being outside this summer.
